Warehouse Wall, West Twelfth Street

$165.00

This alley was giving me the creeps while I made this photograph. Technically, it’s a proper street and not an alley. But as this is where the westmost end of West Twelfth Street dead-ends, and I was the only person for blocks around, I was feeling a bit antsy. I was also really curious about the story behind all these layers of corrugated iron. There has to be one.

This image appeared in my show, This Here Now, as a large-format laser print. This silver gelatin print from the same time has never been exhibited before.
