An exhibition of two projects at Sawtooth School for Visual Art, summer 2019
The Winston-Salem project
These urban landscape images are collected during early morning explorations of a changing Winston-Salem. I arrange the city’s architectural shapes and textures in the frame to create formal compositions while simultaneously recording the histories of use and reuse that are evident on these building exteriors.

Astrofauxtography
These blue photographs were triggered by my experience of the August 21 eclipse in 2017 and inspired by the thousands of amazing photographs of our solar system that continue to be taken by space-traveling robots on their voyage away from Earth. These are pigment print enlargements of cyanotype prints. The originals were created on the beach, using sun and sand, and developed in the ocean.
