Tim Bowman is a visual effects worker and historical photographic process aficionado based in Winston-Salem, NC. His images appear fleetingly on movie screens all over the world, and also in much smaller sizes for much longer durations in locations much closer to home.
His visual effects work appears invisibly in The Hunger Games, Gravity, I Am Number Four, as well as in many other films, episodic series, and commercials. He also creates tools, processes, and educational modules which enable other VFX workers to put their best foot forward.
As a photographer, Tim makes most of his prints in the darkroom. Winston-Salem is his adopted home town, and he is busy documenting its evolution using large-format cameras and antique processes. He also makes pictures about outer space.
Tim’s photography is represented by Artfolios. Visit the gallery on their site to view the photographs. Spend some time poking around there. They also represent a bunch of other great artists working in the Winston-Salem area.
